The Eiffel scholarship program is a tool developed by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract the best foreign students to degree courses at master’s and doctoral level.

This scholarship helps to train future foreign decision-makers, from the private and public sectors, in the priority fields of study, and to stimulate applications from students from emerging countries aged 25 years maximum for the master’s level and from emerging countries and industrialized aged 30 at most for the doctorate level.

1st step :

3rd step:

Prepare your application file. The documents must imperatively be translated into French or English.

For the Master’s section, the application file must contain:

  1. Candidate cover letter
  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. Copy of transcripts since entry into Higher Education
  4. Academic ranking of the previous year (mandatory). It is a mandatory document to apply for the Eiffel scholarship. As this scholarship is an excellence scholarship, the jury needs to know the student’s ranking within his promotion. If your university does not systematically issue this document, you must ask the person in charge of your training to make a signed certificate mentioning your classification.
  5. Letter of recommendation

For the Doctorate component, the application file must contain:

  1. A presentation of the thesis project and the progress of the research, written in French or English (1 to 5 pages)
  2. Certificate of co-supervision / co-supervision of thesis
  3. Candidate cover letter
  4. Curriculum vitae
  5. Copy of transcripts since entry into Higher Education
  6.
